Abraham
Abraham is one of two senior mules who spent decades with loving owners before age and health challenges made continued care difficult. He arrived needing updated vaccinations, dental work, and hoof trimming. Abraham had not left his property in years, making transport a new experience, but he handled it calmly with patient handling. He is now enjoying a safe pasture, consistent care, and a fresh start at the sanctuary.
LIKES:
Being around all of the other goats (except for Pebbles!)
Dislikes:
Anything to do with Pebbles!
Favorite treat:
Kale and bananas.

Abraham’s Story
On a dark evening, the night before Thanksgiving 2025, Washington County Animal Services, one of our partners, brought us this unnamed goat, confiscated in a neglect case. Sweet girl, thin and scared but friendly she began by being fostered by us. Shortly thereafter, she was surrendered to us.
We called her Angie Dear, partly because she looked like a small deer to us! She is an Oberhasli breed of goat, originating from Switzerland. Angie Dear is around eight years old and loves her food and companionship with most of the other goaties
