Angel

Angel is our youngest goat at only two years old. She is a Boer goat and as pretty as can be! She’d been a 4-H goat who didn’t cut the mustard for becoming a breeding goat because she was too small. One of our wonderful goat volunteers, Laura Bujjoni, heard that Angel would have been headed to the dinner table and offered to not only purchase her from the family for $50 (which Laura did as a donation for OGR!!!), but she also picked Angel up and delivered her here from Cornelius, OR, about 90 minutes away!

Angel was desperate to be around the other goats and she acclimated right away once quarantine was over. Poppy decided to establish her dominance and there was some immediate head-butting, but the transition went seamlessly!

We look forward to Angel having many precious and healthy years at On Golden Rescue with the rest of our goat clan!
