In-Kind Donations

On Golden Rescue greatly appreciates any considerations for donated vehicles, equipment, supplies etc. if there is a need for it at our rescue. Any vehicles or trailers must be titled in order for us to accept the donation.

Feed donations: In certain instances, OGR may accept direct donations of feed or hay, however, due to the unique feeding requirements of each of our animals, we are pretty restricted in what we can accept. We gladly accept monetary donations to be used towards the purchase of feed or hay for our animals.

Hay Specifications

We've found that all hay is not the same so we are very particular about the type, and quality, of hay that we feed the animals. Please keep this in mind when considering whether or not to donate your hay.

We get our hay from Eastern Oregon and it can get expensive, but it's also mostly grass which makes a big difference.
